Become part of the European network of the waste wood sector, establish international contacts, gain technical insights and strengthen European exchange within the industry.

The European Waste Wood Group connects companies and professionals from the European waste wood sector. Its aim is to promote technical exchange, make current developments visible and strengthen dialogue within the industry at European level.

Through its close connection to BAV e. V., one of the largest professional associations for the waste wood sector in Europe, members gain access to a broad network of companies and experts along the entire value chain.

Our members come from various European countries and represent, among others, the following areas:

• waste wood processing
• material recovery
• energy recovery
• logistics and transport
• mechanical and plant engineering
• trade and consulting

Membership offers:

• information on regulatory and technical developments
• exchange on current industry topics
• access to a European professional network
• opportunities for technical dialogue with companies and experts from different countries
• participation in events and working groups

Especially in an increasingly complex regulatory environment, European exchange of experience within the industry is becoming ever more important.

The European Waste Wood Group organises regular specialist events, conferences and working groups on current topics affecting the European waste wood sector.

These include, among others:

• European and national regulation
• energy and environmental policy
• recycling and biomass topics
• transboundary shipment of waste wood
• technical developments and practical issues

The events are held in English and bring together participants from various European countries.

Membership is open to companies that are directly or indirectly active in the waste wood sector, for example in the following areas:

• processing and recycling
• material or energy recovery
• logistics and transport
• mechanical and plant engineering
• trade and consulting
• energy supply and industry

We welcome companies and professionals from across Europe who would like to actively contribute to the network and help shape European exchange within the waste wood sector.

The regular membership fee is €3,500 per year. In the year of joining, the fee is calculated on a pro rata basis.

Companies with an annual turnover of less than €5 million pay a reduced fee of €2,500 per year. Annual proof is required.
